This 30-Hour training is brought to you by Anthony Louis Center/On Belay House, providing adolescent CD services, UA screening, assessment, outpatient, residential primary and extended care services. Anthony Louis Center/On-Belay House; Helping Adolescents Since 1976.
This training is designed to meet the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services requirement that some professionals working in licensed chemical dependency facilities serving adolescents have 30 hours of classroom instruction in adolescent development.
Recognizing and understanding an adolescent’s stage of emotional, physical and social development is essential in establishing client rapport while delivering appropriate and effective services.
As a result of this training, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the biopsychosocial dynamics of adolescent development.
- Describe coexisting factors that may impact adolescent development.
- Comply with DHS requirement of 30-hours of instruction in adolescent development.
