This training will satisfy the 8-Hour annual continuing education requirement for Rule 25 assessors.
The revisions to Rule 25 have significantly changed the clinical and administrative assessment requirements for placing authorities such as counties, tribal governments and pre-paid health plans. This training will explore the concepts and language of the new assessment model (The Minnesota Matrix) and tool. Additional discussion will focus on the administrative responsibilities of Rule 25 and how they are operationalized.
As a result of this training, participants will be able to:
- Conduct appropriate chemical use assessment interviews.
- Utilize case applications to increase effectiveness as a chemical use assessor.
- Conduct Minnesota Rule 25 compliant placements.
