Rule 25: Assessing
& Placing Clients with Chemical Use Problems

This training is designed to meet the 30-hour classroom requirement
of Minnesota State Rule 25.
Human service professionals are often required to assess client
chemical use and make appropriate recommendations and referrals.
This three-day training provides the knowledge and skills needed
to conduct competent chemical use assessments and appropriately
refer clients into the chemical health continuum of care.
As a result of this training, participants will be able to:
- Conduct comprehensive chemical use assessments.
- Determine a client's level of chemical use involvement.
- Recommend appropriate referral options.
- Comply with Minnesota State Rule 25 guidelines.

Additional resource presenters may be utilized throughout the training.
This training provides 30.0 CE Hours. No credit will be given
for partial attendance. Successful completion of this class
requires a three-hour out-of-class reading assignment.
